Short answer: Just Dance: Decades of Hits ships with 35 songs, split by Ubisoft into six decade groups from the 1970s through the 2020s. The game launched October 13, 2026 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving November 10, 2026. Everything below comes from Ubisoft’s own launch announcement and official patch notes as of October 14, 2026.

The complete song list by decade

Ubisoft’s launch announcement lists all 35 tracks and groups them into decade buckets. The official game page teases one recognizable pick per decade — Mamma Mia for the 70s, It’s Tricky for the 80s, Wannabe for the 90s, Bye Bye Bye for the 2000s, Turn Down for What for the 2010s, and NUEVAYoL for the 2020s — but the full roster lives in the press release.

2020s Across All Time Lyra Gigavolt
2020s Supersonic Lyra Gigavolt
2020s Hi Lyfe Cult of Sound

Two of the 2020s entries — Across All Time and Supersonic — are credited to Lyra Gigavolt, the character who leads the game’s story mode. The roster also includes Hyacinth’s The Singing Garden, Metal Russell’s Jump, Equinox Stars’ Celebration, Groove Century’s ABC, and The Heartliners’ Come and Get Your Love, credited exactly as they appear in Ubisoft’s announcement.

A note on the decade labels. These buckets follow Ubisoft’s own grouping rather than each track’s original release year. A few titles don’t sit in the decade you might expect, but re-sorting them would misrepresent how the game presents them, so the list above preserves the publisher’s labeling.

Where each song actually lives in the game

The 35 tracks above are the base game’s roster. Other content sits in adjacent categories, and it helps to keep them separate before you buy or search.

Content type What it includes What the sources establish
Base game The 35 songs listed above Included with Decades of Hits
Adventure Mode Story challenges, quizzes, sorting mini-games, rewards Adds structure around the songs; it does not gate them
Just Dance+ Streaming catalog of additional songs Requires a Ubisoft account, internet connection, and a paid subscription
Just Dance 2023–2026 editions Your existing library and purchased Music Packs Accessible in one place on the same console if you own Decades of Hits plus one of those editions

Ubisoft’s patch notes for Version 27.0.1 clarify an important point about Adventure Mode: all songs included in Just Dance: Decades of Hits remain accessible through the Song Library regardless of your Adventure Mode progress. Adventure progression is tracked separately from main game progression, and scores earned there don’t count toward standard leaderboards or personal high scores.

The same patch notes describe a reworked Song Library: sorting by Opus returns, you can search by song title and artist, there’s a retractable filter panel, and 12 songs display on screen at once instead of 8.

Library sharing across editions

If you own Decades of Hits and any of the Just Dance 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 Editions, Ubisoft says you can reach all of those songs in one place on the same console without switching between games or menus. That includes songs from purchased Music Packs and tracks available through an active Just Dance+ subscription. It is not compatible with Just Dance 2022 or older versions.

Also worth knowing: the Multiple Dancer Card system lets you create, rename, and customize several cards, and local guests can pick an existing card or a generated guest profile mid-session. Progression, rewards, and scores are shared across all Dancer Cards — they are customizable identities, not separate save files.

Picking songs for a session

These are general practice suggestions, not verified per-track mechanics — no official source in this set rates song difficulty or coach counts, so treat them as starting points.

  • Build a set chronologically. Run a 70s or 80s track first to warm up, then move into the 2000s and 2010s, and finish with the 2020s block where the higher-energy picks cluster.
  • Use the decade groups as a themed party. Six decade worlds and up to six local players make “one song per decade” an easy rotation format.
  • Try Party Mode when the group is mixed-skill. The rules shift each round, which spreads the spotlight beyond whoever is best at the standard scoring.
  • Use Workout Mode if you want tracking. It records calories burned per dance according to the launch announcement.
